Work in Progress
Like life itself, I guess. Anyway…not to get too pretentious…I’m giving up entirely on a polished “launch” and, well, mind the rusty nails and sharp edges.
I have big plans…big plans…um, anyway, in the quickest possible fashion, this is my art gallery site as well as my current (sole proprietor) business website, and will be the place to both find my art and get to all of my “solo commercial venture” type of things.
Exold.com is still where much of my blogging will take place — exact proportions TBD, as well as content mix between here, there, Lumberjocks, Wetcanvas, et al. Whew.
At some point in the very near future I’ll be working “for real” doing software development (or something very similar) for a regular paycheck. At least, I hope so, because otherwise I’ll probably be out forming yet another business, something like a rough & ready company of mercenaries just dying (ha, ha) to parachute into yet another fourth-world hellhole where they’ll mow down the Bad Guys while somehow avoiding Fatal Injury except, of course, where necessary to move the plot forward.
When I resume doing full-time software development, well, not much will change for Ars Arboris (the company), as I’m currently only putting in part-time hours anyway. (Splitting part-time hours between a business startup and actually creating art is, FWIW, somewhere in the abyss between “not recommended” and a straitjacketed, Thorazine-on-tap vacation. Now that I mention that, though, it’s sounding pretty relaxing….)
So, content will trickle, flow, clot, stumble, collapse, and leak its way into being here and elsewhere. Feel free to complain, argue, question, comment, and otherwise engage (or ignore) as you like in the meantime. I welcome your input, whether or not I have the bandwidth to act on it immediately!
